Makeup + Savings = You need our tips

Guest Post today from Chameleon John!  Hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

- - - - - - - - - - - -

Makeup addicts love it when the topic is about makeup products and, at the same time, savings. So, we have compiled a list that will help you serve the purpose and have a happy ‘savings’ time ahead.

Liquid makeup will last longer
If you have invested your savings in liquid makeup, here is a trick to make it last longer. Use warm water and settle the tube in it for a couple of minutes. Now, pour it out in a shallow container. Yeah! You can use it for a couple of sessions and then look for a new one.
Bonus tip: If your mascara has dried, use the same trick to get the clumps out of it.

Save the mascara
You can revive your mascara by adding a few drops of saline to it. Try it and live the experience.

DIYs
There are a number of makeup products that can be made rather than bought from a store. For example, makeup brush cleaner can be made at home. This cleaner is not expensive, but you need it now and then. So, learn how to make one. Just in case…
Other DIYs include making makeup remover that can replace disposable cleaning cloth in your makeup box. Well, makeup remover is out next point too.

Makeup remover
There are many expensive makeup removers available in the market. But there are cheaper alternatives too. One of them is Johnson’s No More Tears Baby Shampoo. This is cheap and can be used for a number of purposes. So, buy and keep one in your purse, all the time.
Planning to buy it? Buy it online and get an additional discount on applying coupons that are available at Chameleon John.

Reuse old beauty tools
Reusing them is a sensible decision. For example – your old mascara wand can be used for unclogging drains, cleaning jewelry and more. Think about it and use it appropriately.

Perfume trick
If your perfume is running low and you are short of cash to buy a new one, use this trick. Pour a few drops of your perfume into your lotion bottle and get the most out of it.

Look for free samples
Companies often provide free samples at promotional events and to a list of valued customers. If you get this opportunity, don’t let it slip out of your hands. Get some free samples and use it till it lasts. If you think it is a worthy investment, buy a new pair of the same.
Note: Before applying any free sample, make sure that you are not allergic to the ingredients.

Sales are for you
Make the most of it. Off-season shopping will also help.

Take care of your skin
Taking care of your skin, you will have to spend less on makeup products. This will increase your savings and make you look gorgeous at the same time.

Concluding, these tips should help makeup addicts like you to save money while shopping for necessities.
