FTSF~My Bad Habits

Finish the Sentence Fridays
I have a bad habit of...

...biting my fingernails.  Oh yes, I am a fanatic fingernail biter.  I really dislike it when they are long.  I don't like to accidentally scratch myself.  So, the second they get long, I bite them off.  It makes me frustrated when I bite them and it pulls down to the fleshy part of my nail, but that's what I get for not using a nail clippers {or at least that's what the Hubs says}.

...leaving my clothes random places.  Now, get your mind out of the gutter.  Just random at my house.  Sometimes I am sitting on the couch and my bra gets uncomfortable, so I take it off.  Not always do I wish to immediately get up and put it where it should go.  There have been times I have found a shirt or sock behind the couch a few months later.  Then I just pick it up and put it in the dirty clothes basket.  Then, it gets clean and I can wear it again.  Rarely do I go looking for random articles of clothing, but if it is something I really like {or it fits well}, I will go looking.

I wanted to thank all of you who have stopped by my blog and read my past Finish the Sentence Fridays posts {and other ones}.  This is my last week as hostess.  It has been an honor to have met you and have you visit me.  I will link up when I can in the future, but please be sure to stop by Kristi and say hi to her as your new Hostess!

FTSF~My Bucket List

Finish the Sentence Fridays
What's on your Bucket List?

Mainly my bucket list is boring.  I haven't really planned out what things I want to accomplish in life.  One would think I should have done this prior to writing this post, but that did happen.  I would have had to have been motivate to decide what to do with my life and that has been a moot point for several years.  Basically, I am derailed because I am trying to make the best life I can for the Beanie Babies.  Don't get me wrong.  I am not unhappy, I just don't have much time for myself.  And when I do, apparently, now I blog ;)

Tell us what is on your bucket list.  Link 'em up and let us know.  Then, come back next week and tell us:
What's on your bucket list.

FTSF~I Learned This in Church

Finish the Sentence Fridays
In church, I learned to...

...wear pajamas in public.  Yep, I was one of those kids at church.  I was SO cool, I only had to roll out of bed a bless my church with my presence.  Really though, it wasn't just me.  It was my whole confirmation class...

...love country music.  I was really into this guy for, like, ever; and he really liked country music.  So, I learned to love it.  And Jesus.  Well, I already did that, but he loved Jesus, so I loved Jesus.

...sing and wash dishes with a commercial grade dish washer (and touch really flipping hot plates).  Because when I was in youth group, we actually had to work at our fundraisers to earn the money for our trips and fun activities.  So, the part of the fundraisers we all loved the most is the clean up.  Setting up was second best, but people were always late and it was rushed, so not as fun.  The clean up, especially when we could drive, was great.  We would stay there for HOURS after the event, doing the dishes and cleaning the community rooms.  Good times.

...not swear in public.  Yep.  The first time I decided to swear was not only in church (it wasn't in the Sanctuary, it was in Fellowship Hall, but yeah, I know...bad me); but also in front of my mother.  In my defense, I didn't know she was right in front of me.  I was too obsessed with the thing next to me that made me yell out, "oh f-ing sh!t!"  That made everyone stop in their tracks.  Oops.  My mom spun around and grabbed my arm and dragged me into the bathroom.  Here, she decided to wash my mouth out with hand soap.  Never did that again.  EVER.

So, what did you learn in your place of worship?  Link up your post below!

FTSF~If I Could Go Back...

Finish the Sentence Fridays
If I could go back and do something over it would be...
...going straight through college.  Taking a break was stupid.  At the time, I didn't think it would be so dumb, but it was.  STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!  Got all out of whack and I'm pretty sure I just plain out right got a little dumber.

...to NOT go party before the ACTs.  Although I did quite well, I did GREAT the next time, completely sober.

...my wedding day.  Only because it was so damn hot!  I wouldn't change the ceremony {well, I suppose, I would take out the sweat} or anything, but I would make the date be less hot.  A better weather date :)

I'm sure there are more, but I probably don't know you well enough to share them with you!  What would you do over?  Link it up below.

The sentence for next week is:
In church {or place of worship}. I learned to...

FTSF~The best fourth of July

Finish the Sentence Fridays
The best 4th of July I ever had was...
...any I can spend with my extended family.  Even if it drives me nuts.  Which is strange, because it's usually my family that drives me nuts.

Anyhow.  If you're reading this post, you haven't hopped through the linky yet, because I'm not actually linked up this week!  What?!?  Stop the presses!  I linked up my Guest Post over at Krystle's blog: Life Revolves Around Them.  Tricked ya!  Krystle had the nerve to go on vacation. Bah.  Who needs those?  Oh, that's right, I'll be taking a bloggy vay-cay next week!  Anyone want to GP HERE?  Let me know!

What made the best 4th of July you've even had special?  Link it up below.
We're taking a break next week.  Enjoy the 4th!

Dinner...with a DEAD Person?

Finish the Sentence Fridays
If I could have dinner with anyone in history, it would be...
...George Washington.  I would like to ask him if he really believed he was THE BEST option for our first official president.  If so, why.  I don't know that I would have much to add to the conversation.

So, that's all I have on that subject.

I recently joined a few FB and G+ groups on blogging.  They each have such different rules and goals.  It's quite interesting.  However; I am scared to post much in any of them, as I do not want to offend or do something wrong and get kicked out.  I am a rule follower {and maker}.  I like to follow the rules.  I made it challenging for myself by joining a FEW groups at once, instead of one at a time.  They all seemed to call me, I couldn't just do one and then forget who the rest were.  Anyone else have this problem?  Ah, well...

Back to the original topic, who you would have dinner with?  Link it on up and don't forget to come back next week!  Our sentence is:

FTSF~The Hardest Part of My Day

Finish the Sentence Fridays
The hardest part of my day is...
...waking up in the morning.  It's not the knowledge that the Beanie Babies are going to run me ragged all day.  Or the fact that the Hubs is going to drive me up one wall or another.  Or even the idea of all those bad drives out there that are going make me crash into a tree {because I refuse to crash into them}.  It's just hard to get out of my heated bed.  All sprawled out and happily dreaming about how fun it would be to be rich and/or super hot.  I don't drink coffee, so I've been told that makes it harder.  I used to drink Diet Coke to help with the caffeine, but I've since cut back {to only a liter a day}, so I don't drink that before 11am.  Hmm, maybe that's when I actually wake up.

What's the hardest part of your day?  Link it on up and don't forget to come back next week!  Our sentence is:
If I could have dinner with anyone in history it would be...
