Yummy Oatmeal/Granola Bars

2 Egg Whites
1/2 c peanut butter (chunky for a little more crunch - or - smooth for basic texture)
1/3 c brown sugar
1/4 c honey
3 c old fashioned oats
1/3 c semi-sweet chocolate chips**
2 T melted butter (wait until mixture is complete to melt)

Preheat oven to 350 {degrees f}.   Spray the bottom of 9x13 baking pan with non-stick spray.

Beat egg whites until frothy.  Stir in peanut butter, brown sugar and honey.  Add old fashioned oats, stir to combine.  Add semi-sweet chocolate chips, stir.  Spread mixture into 9x13 baking pan.  Make sure layer is an even thickness.  Lightly brush melted butter over the top.  Bake until the edges are brown, about 15 minute.  Should you use a 9x9 baking pan, bars will be thick and take about 20 minutes in the oven.  9x9 baking pan makes more of a brownie size.

**Optional addition: 1/4 c thinly sliced almonds, mix in with oats.
**Optional addition: 2/3 c milk chocolate chips, melt and pour on top, after baked.
